When Metallica’s tour bus hit a patch of black ice on a highway in rural Sweden, the Heavy Metal world lost a true genius far too soon.
30 years ago today, Cliff Burton was killed. It’s hard to believe he’s been gone that long. One can only imagine what he would have created during those 30 years, or where Metallica would be stylistically today if he were still around.
R.I.P. Cliff.
