Los Angeles has just declared October 28th to be Stan Lee Day. It will coincide with the first day of Stan’s renamed comic convention which will now be known as L.A. Comic-Con. (Personally I thought Stan Lee’s Comikaze was a cooler name, but whatevs.)
Congratulations to the living legend on this honor. I had the pleasure of meeting Stan twice in recent years and attended one of his panels. Say what you will about him, but he is a fascinating character and a true ambassador for the comic medium.
