We now know why the Inhumans movie was removed from Marvel’s theatrical release schedule!
In an unprecedented move, Marvel’s Inhumans is coming to TV next fall…AND IMax movie theaters in early September!
The series will be filmed in IMax and the 1st 2 episodes will be released for a special event in theaters.
Later in the year those 2 episodes will air on ABC with new material not shown in the theatrical release.
My thoughts on this are kind of conflicting, given rumors I’ve heard about the future of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
It sounds like a great idea and I will be watching it for sure.
But This feels like a replacement for AoS, for many reasons.
I, for 1, have been on the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. bandwagon since it started, and I’ve read a lot of rumors lately that execs at ABC aren’t sure if they want to let it finish out the season.
This feels like it would be the perfect way to get it out of the way and give folks what they wanted AoS to be from the start, a show full of superpowers.
