Moobin’ On Up

Yo, let’s wrap this up so I can get my cowtipper on!

Thanks to @Gigiamk30, I was able to hit up the Mooby’s Pop Up Restaurant on Friday, and Fitz suggested I write a mini review of the experience.
So I figured that was a damn good idea!

My honest first impression as we walked up was “holy shit, this seems like an easter egg orgy” and boy is it.
There are so many references and shit that half of it didn’t hit me until hours later when I started pouring over the pictures that @Gigiamk30 took.

For instance, I didn’t even notice the Dante, Randal, Elias, & Becky Employee of the Month photos because I was so busy looking at and picking details out of EVERYTHING else.
Make no mistake, gang, it’s an incredibly immersive experience that really does make you feel like you tripped and stumbled face first into the warm and familiar embrace of the Askew-niverse.

But this is a restaurant, and if the food doesn’t taste good that rips you out of the experience.
Well, I’m happy to report that upon gettin’ “my cowtipper on”, I about made some secret sauce of my own, nooch.
The now imfamous cowtipper did not, in fact, taste like piss & flies.
The double cheeseburger and the special sauce, I’m not bullshitting, were fuckin’ awesome, gang!
I don’t know what’s in that sauce, but I want some more to bathe in…or use on other foods, I guess…

The Hater Tots had no hate in their heart, nor did the onions rings.
But that burger, I’m gonna have dreams about that bastard, wetness may vary.

The one downside I can pinpoint would be that the staff of Mooby’s (normally Good Buddy’s) were super cool, not a Randal in the bunch.
I guess the Rona kept them from spitting water at me?
Way to maintain the illusion!

I wish shit like this would happen more often, real world tie-in’s to movies and such.
Or, better yet, I wish these Mooby’s joints became a permanent fixture, like the Scum & Villainy Cantina did, because I had a fuck ton of fun.
I would love to go back and wallow in the goofy, crude fun of the Askew-niverse as a monthly treat.

It’s a damn fun experience that I highly suggest you check out if it comes near you, gang.
