My first comic was gifted to me. Spider-Man #197 with Kingpin standing over Spider-Man. I remember being sucked in immediately and shortly after, my dad was renting The Amazing Spider-Man tv show at blockbuster for me. I have been a fan ever since. Sadly, I don’t have that comic anymore.
Have you ever been tempted to rebuy it?
I think I have that in a collected edition, I may have to do a special review of it!
I have such fond memories of it, I’m scared to revisit in and not connect with it like I did when I was little. Growing up, I loved Archie. I have fond memories of buying the different digests at the grocery store and reading them for hours. I recently bought one again and I was honestly disappointed. I don’t wanna do that to my 70’s comic book Spider-Man memories.
