As you all may know, we have been hard at work on a follow up to The Camping Trip And Other Stories and we are now thrilled to announce just what it is and reveal the cover!
Aiming for a May 27th release and featuring a beautiful cover by @LookingForEight, Doomed: The Collected Essays And Reviews Volume 1 takes more than 30 reviews from this site, polishes them up, and drops them between six brand new essays about death, politics, Star Wars, Scooby-Doo, and more.
These essays feature stories and memories that I have never really shared here on the site or any of the various pods before.
Roughly a quarter of this 300+ page book will be brand new material you can’t and won’t find anywhere else, and it will also have a preview of 5 upcoming book reviews months before they hit the site.
This book opened my eyes to just how much more difficult it is to write non-fiction than fiction, I’ve spent more than twice as long writing and revising the existing material for this book than I did for The Camping Trip, and it is far more personal for it.
We hope you’ll all snag a copy for yourself and help us spread the word by leaving review and telling everyone you know so that this book well and leads to us doing many more.
Preorders should (hopefully) be available at some point in the next few days, and I will update this post when they are.
And we also wanna say thanks to our Patrons for voting on the format of this book last year!

And finally, given the state of the world, do what you can to leave it a little bit better than you found it.
As difficult as that may be currently, it can have an impact far greater than you know.
Until next time, stay safe out there, gang.
