The Nerd Blitz Round Up #2: October 2021

Hey gang, as it is a new month, we’re taking another stab at this new site feature that takes a look back at and shares all of the previous month’s content in 1 place.

Obviously, if you all dig this concept and want it to continue, let us know and this idea can, and probably will, evolve over time.
But nonetheless, here is the second TNB Round Up, for the month of October 2021!

But before we dive into it all, once again, we have to say a mondo mega huge THANK YOU to the incredible @SteBoost for creating the logo for these posts.

Now, with all of that cleared up, let’s dive in and take a look at what went down in and around the realm of Nerd Blitz-Dom in the month of October!

October 4th, Halloween season kicked off with Doom’s 3rd Goosebumps TNB Book Review.

October 5th, the 164th edition of The Nerd Blitz Question Of The Week is once again all about the Universal Monsters.

October 8th, the 115th episode of The Nerd Blitz Main Show, where we talked WAAAAY too in depth about Fax Machines.

October 12th, the 165th edition of The Nerd Blitz Question Of The Week graced us all with its presence and talked about Halloween Kills…A LOT!

October 18th, Doom took a look at Richard Matheson’s classic Vampire tale I Am Legend in his 2nd TNB Book Review for this month.

October 19th, a special Ash Vs Evil Dead themed question popped up for the 166th edition of TNBQotW.

October 22nd, the 61st episode of The Nerd Blitz Commentaries had us taking a look at a flick that we have only recently come to find isn’t as beloved as we would have thought, The Blair Witch Project!

October 26th, the 167th edition of The Nerd Blitz Question Of The Week had us wondering about your Halloween movie viewing habits!

October 6th, a comic review of the 1st issue (of 2) of Dr. Giggles, an early 90s horror flick from Star Trek: Enterprise’s Manny Coto.

October 11th, brought the 4th Patreon Exclusive Commentary, where we talked about James Gunn’s recent Suicide Squad flick and attempted to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Smallville by trying (and failing) to watch the pilot.

October 13th, a review of The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow went up that may or may not have been a rage filled affair.

October 14th, we dropped the 13th TNB Mini Episode, where we did an equipment test, a format test, and Fitz talked about some pending fun!

October 16th, saw us take a 2nd stab at the Smallville pilot, this time on the actual 20th Anniversary, in TNBCommentaries Patreon Exclusive #5!

October 18th, to prepare for this year’s free feed Halloween commentary, we dropped Patreon Exclusive Commentary #6 and watched the Mockumentery “Curse Of The Blair Witch”.

October 20th, perfect for Halloween, pages 19 & 20 of The Franklin Affair went out for your reading pleasure.

October 21st, the 19th edition of The Nerd Blitz Question Of The Week Podcast saw us talking about the legendary Stan Lee.

October 25th, with guest @Gigiamk30, Doom Does Did Saw, the 1st of a, hopefully, 9 part series covering the entire Saw franchise!

October 27th, a new Comic Review, in which Doom reviewed the adaptation of the classic Bruce Campbell flick My Name Is Bruce, went up.

October 31st, for the 2nd year in a row, officially making it a tradition at this point, a surprise Halloween themed Doom Does… covering a Scooby ep dropped.
This year the Scooby-Doo/Supernatural crossover ep, ScoobyNatural is under the microscope.
